When the UN resolved military aids on June 27th, 1950, Denmark decided to provide medical assistance. Denmark was the very first among UN member states to inform the intention to support. Red Cross Hospital Ship M/S Jutlandia comprising 100 troops and Brigadier General Kai Hammerich was dispatched to Korea three times between 1951 and August 1953. During the war, they operated for 630 man-days in M/S Jutlandia. The total number of casualties treated by M/S Jutlandia was about 6,000. When the armistice agreement was signed on July 27, M/S Jutlandia donated most of its medicines and supplies to private hospitals via the UN Korean Reconstruction Agency. On August 16th, 1953, M/S Jutlandia departed Incheon Port with a hearty farewell from Incheon citizens admiring their work. Denmark _ Arrived in Korea on March 7, 1951 Upon request of the UN, Norway devised a plan to dispatch a medical corps through Red Cross. Under the Norway The 60th Parachute Field Ambulance arrived in Korea on November 20th, 1950, and served 627 man-days until August 1953. During this period, the ambulance treated 1,400 casualties. The 60th Parachute Field Ambulance joined the Custodian Force of India after the armistice agreement to support the custody of war prisoners before returning to India with the Custodian Force on February 23rd, 1954. 이것이 전쟁이다!
